What to expect

What are the races like?

Each team in the league attends 5 races — the schedule and dates are below. Some races are out of town, so there’s travel involved. Each rider/family is responsible for transporting themselves to the race.

Races run over two days. The exact race-day schedule is TBD, but generally Middle School races on Saturdays and High School races on Sundays. Races are divided into categories by age group and gender; each rider registers for their category and races at that day and time.

Race weekends are full of activity, so it’s encouraged to hang around and cheer on your fellow racers in a festive environment. It takes a village of volunteers to run the events — both for the team and for the league.

There are lots of ways to contribute: for the team (bringing gear, food/snacks) and for the league (crossing guards, course clean-up, roving, and race sweeps, for example).
